How do I insert ink within Word 2007?

It appears that portions of MS Office 2007 do not permit inking as Office
2003 did. So far I only found inking available in Outlook 2007. Did MS take
it out or is there something I need to do for it to appear?

Hi John,

For Office 2007 MS did remove the Office supplied 'Alternative Input' features (dictation, ink, write pad). The provision of these
has reverted to the Windows folks. Windows Tablet PC systems should be able to provide the inking capability, the desktop versions
generally do not.

I understand from your response that the inking feature for Office 2007 is in
the works. If I am wrong, please set me straight. I am using Windows XP
Tablet Edition on Tablet PC so there should not be a problem with that. I am
planning on our next student PC puchase in the fall, and would like to be
able to tell folks that inking will/will not be available.

In Word Home & Student 2007, the inking group is at Review/Start Inking; I
use it a lot.
