How do I insert ms word short cut back into the start menu?

G

I moved the ms word short cut from the start menu onto my desktop.
How do I put it back so that other users can see the word shortcut when they
open the start menu?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what version of Word or operating system you are using, but in
Windows XP, here is one way:

Right-click the Start menu
Choose "Open All Users"
Using your _right_ mouse button, drag and drop the Word shortcut from your
desktop to the location you want it on the All Users version of the Start
menu that is open in front of you.
After dragging, choose "Copy here" from the shortcut menu.
