How do I install a mpeg video file in FP2003?

I have a mpeg video file, about 20 MB. The file plays from my PC and from
the Folder List in FrontPage but not when published to the server or the
Internet. Please advise.

Are you allow the time for it to download and then start to play?

The video would need to be downloaded from the server to the computer,
and then lauch an application like Windows Media Player. It would not
play inside the web pay. Think you need Flash to do that.

show us a link to the page that's not working right.
FWIW; simply linking to an MPG, or any other raw video format is less than
ideal. the user won't get any idea that the video is loading, and 20MB even
on DSL is enough to make many people abandon the page thinking it's not
working.

there's a cheap little video player maker here that you might want to try:

20 megs is a pretty big file. It is probably downloading first, and then
playing.
