How do I install Office on a laptop without a CD-ROM drive?

I need to install Office (or at least Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) on a
laptop that has only a floppy drive and USB port. Is there a way to get those
onto the laptop via my desktop, which has CD burner, USB ports, and floppy
drive? Perhaps using a flash drive or floppy to move files onto the laptop?

No, you can't install Office by copying files from one hard drive
to another. If you can network your laptop and desktop, then you
can share the desktop's CD drive, and then either: 1) copy the
contents of the Office CD to the laptop's hard drive, and install
from the laptop's hard drive, or 2) install from the desktop's CD
drive, although this could cause updating issues later on.

Wat you can do:

On the desktop:
- Create an ISO image of the cd
- copy this one to a flashdrive (USB HD)

On the notebook

- Mount the ISO file as drive and install Office!
(MS tool to mount an iso as disk: VCdControlTool.exe)
