How do I install the latest Office 2003 SP without the pro.msi?

I received my Microsoft Office Prof. 2002 from my university as part of their
contract with MS. The CD's apparently have the PRO.MSI removed for who knows
what reason. Microsoft Update keeps coming up with "updates available"--a
pain. When I go through the process it asks for the original CD with PRO.MSI
and the installation fails. What's next?

You'll need to contact your university folks. You'll basically, at some point, need access to an Office XP CD or to a network
Office Admin point (probably via the university) to use the original installation source files.
