How do I install upgrades for Office 97 on XP?

I have installed Office 97 on Windows XP and would like to install the
recommended upgrades from Microsoft such as: sr1off97, off97vpk, o97dtfix,
and JetCopkg. Can I install any of them, and if so, how?

Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx , click on "Check
for Updates", and follow the instructions on the screen.

Check for updates only works with Office XP and 2003. For Office 97, the OP
needs to use the Office Downloads list and select Office 97 for the list of
available updates. The OP will need to do this for each program included in
their version of Office 97.
