How do I keep format changes from showing on my page & printing?

I changed the type color on a portion of my Word Document. The formatting
shows up on the page and prints. how do I stop this? thanks

If you mean that you got a "balloon" showing the change in formatting, you
need to turn off Track Changes and Accept All Changes.
