how do i keep my background colour when printing?

I am doing a project and on my title page i need to have a background but i
have went tools>background> and chose my colour,and it comes up the colour
but when i go onto print preview and when i print there is no background
colour! ive done what it said on microsoft office help which is
tools>options>select the print tab>and tick the box which says background
printing, but it makes no difference and its really annoying!!! so please
someone help me!!! thanks

I think you were be better to put a tick in the box labeled

"Background colors and Images"
