How do I keep Outlook from removing attachments from safe contact

Several safe contacts have sent Word attachments but OE removes them
automatically, calling them unsafe. However, these attachements are such
things as credit applications from vendors, etc. How can I change this
without comprising Outlook's security?

OE is part of Internet Explorer unlike Microsoft Outlook which is part of
Microsoft Office. You should ask in an OE group. Assuming you're using OE
6.0:
