How do I know outlook server info for e-mail, etc.

I am trying to setup outlook. I have never really used it. It is asking me
if I want to use POP3 or html as e-mail type. I don't know what that means,
or what the difference is, which would be better. It then asks me what the
server addresses are that I use for sending and receiving e-mail. I am on
msn.com, that is where I have always sent and received e-mail, I have no idea
what the address is. I don't mean to sound like an idiot, I consider myself
rather computer literate, but am lost here. Thanks for anything you can do-

Contact your ISP for instructions on how to configure Outlook to access
their servers.

If you pay MSN for mail access, contact them. If you use a free Hotmail
account, chances are you won't be able to use Outlook to access it.
