how do I know where the margins of a label are when doing a merge

Is there some way to turn on the outline of the labels you are doing in a
merge document so you can see the size and outline of the labels themselves
to format the information you are putting on your label? I am using Word
2007.

Labels are just tables with fixed cell dimensions so when the selection is
in the table, the Table Tools tabs should appear on the Ribbon, select the
Layout tab and in the Table section at the left had end of the ribbon, click
on the View Gridlines button.

Click the layout tab under Table Tools and in the first group... Table...
click View Gridlines if it is not already selected. If it is already
selected, they you can't see the lines because of the low contrast blue color
Microsoft elected to use with this version of Word. Try changing your
brightness and/or contrast settings and/or the angle from which you are
viewing the screen.
Good luck!
