'Team members' group open projects from MS Project 2003? I've selected the
"Open Project" check box in the modify group screen but that doesn't allow
them to open a schedule.

I believe this is a permissions issue.

You could try this:

1 Navigate to Admin > Manage Security
2 Select 'My Resources' Category
3 Click 'Modify Category'
4 Check to see if the desired permissions are 'allowed'

You could also try to modify the (Team Memebrs) Group's permissions in
similar fashion under 'Manage users and groups'
