How do I level resources using Enterprise Resource Pool with AD?

I have just recently switched to Microsoft Project Server 2003. Currently
all active projects are published to the server and the Enterprise Resource
Pool has been synched with Active Directory.

When I click Level Resources on the Tools menu in Microsoft Project
Professional 2003, and then click Level Now, tasks that are assigned to the
resources are not rescheduled.

Any help with identification of a solution to this issue would be appreciated.

There's nothing particularly different in the way the leveling tool works
when using Project Server. In order to level across projects, you must have
them open. Perhaps you have your task priorities set to 1000, or perhaps you
don't have your leveling options set correctly. It's difficult to advise you
without a lot more description of what you're doing.

All of the issues that I am encountering are new since updating to project
server. These projects were leveling fine prior to being published to the
project server. The leveling steps are the same as before publishing the
projects, the only difference is that when we level now no changes are being
made to the projects since they have been published.
