Hello all,
I am creating an ERD of an Oracle database using the Database | Database
Model Diagram template in Visio (the developers have created table
relationships via SQL script rather than using native relational features, so
I am unable to reverse engineer the ERD that shows those the relationships).
Visio is working great for this. Here's the problem:
One of the tables in the DB is the main/master/pivot table, and it links to
almost all the other tables (150+) in the database. But every time I create
another relationship (using the Entity tool and the Relationship Connector
tool), it adds another foreign key (FK) reference to the main Entity table.
I'm glad it does that, but Visio doesn't seem to know when to break the line
so that some of the FK refs fall in a subsequent line. As a result, that
particular Entity is growinThatg so wide, it's crowding out the surrounding
tables (and it just looks weird). Is there a way to force a line break in
this entity so as to reduce its width? Thanks!
