HOW DO I LINE UP COLUMNS FOR A WORDSEARCH?

I created a wordsearch, but can not line up the columns.
How do I line up columns of individual letters to create a wordsearch?

A table is probably the easiest way (center the letters in the cells). You
could also use tabs or use a monospaced font.
