How do I link multiple Business Contacts to one Account and Vice V

I am sure it's been asked a thousand times, but I am using a trial version to
evaluate the migration from Act! to Outlook with BCM.

In my business I can have the same client (contact) with whom I do multiple
legal files. I need to track everything I do with this contact per each file.
I am thinking to create a new Account per each file and I would like to link
the contact with this file. I would be working within the account and not the
contact. Moreover, in each account I often have an opposing party and an
opposing lawyers. These too can come back again in another file (account) but
with a different contact.

I hope you get it.

Basically, if I can figure the first two questions - (1) LINK multiple
business contacts to one account AND (2) LINK a contact to multiple accounts.

Thank you.

You can parent multiple business contacts with one account, but not
one business contact with multiple accounts.

You could consider using a project for each legal file.

Thank you Luther.

As you can read from my original post, I am not entirely familiar with
Outlook 2007 w. BCM, since I am an ACT! user.

Can you therefore take a minute and explain what you mean by creating a
project for a "legal file" ? You may be on to something and I would really
like to know more.

Thanks again.

There are several folders in BCM (look at the folder view on the left;
if you don't see BCM folders, you need to switch it to display all
folders):
Business Contacts
Accounts
Opportunities
Projects

Go to the Projects folder. Create a new Project. Try using that for a
legal file, and see if it's a good fit.
