Hello
I wish to send updated tables from home to a web server (remotely located)
and incorporate the updated tables into an MSAccess database located on the
server. I am using ASP to interrogate the server database.
My approach is to upload the tables as separate xls files to the same web
server directory (_fpdb) as the database. This works fine.
The MSAccess database is constructed with links to the xls files. BUT THESE
LINKS DO NOT WORK ON THE WEB SERVER AS THEY REFER TO MY HOME C
RIVE. IT IS
AN ABSOLUTE REFERENCE RATHER THAN A RELATIVE REFERENCE.
I sense from the newsgroups that I may need to establish and OBDC connection
but am unsure how to do this and to then link/relink the xls files.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
