How do I load Office Professional Edition 2003 OVER Office 95?

I recently bought Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 however, when I
tried to load it it tells me that my old office program is TOO old. I
currently have Office 95 on my computer. How can I still load PE 2003
without having to but an Office program in between 95 and 2003? It seems
like a waste of money to buy '97 or 2000 just to wrote over it with the 2003
edition that I already have. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kathy

It would be a bigger waste of money if you don't, because the store
where you bought the Office 2003 upgrade probably let you return it now
that you've opened it.

Hi Kathy,

Unfortunately, MS Office 95 isn't a qualifying product
for the 'upgrade' package of Office 2003 (Office 97,
Office 2000, Office XP/2002 or MS Works are qualifiers).

You don't have to install any of those, only to have
the CD or diskettes from one of them available. I'm
assuming you're running Windows 2000 or Windows XP and
that your PC has a fair amount or RAM/memory in it to
allow MS Office 2003 to run okay.

There is a 30 day money back guarantee (at least in the U.S.)
on MS Office 2003.
