How do I load the last 148kb of SP-3 on Office 2000 Premium?

in loading sp-3 from the office update website, I ran into a problem where
the last 148kb will not install. I have tried a number of times to no avail.
I have reloaded the software even using the erase 2k utility to ensure that
the deletion process was complete.

the inability to load this last chunk prevents me from loading the security
updates.

Are we talking about Office 2000 ? Which version of Off2000. Have you used a registry cleaning tool at all or lately

yes, Peter, as stated, it is Office 2000 Premium. And, no, I have not used a
registry cleaning tool except for the erase 2K utility from Microsoft to
unload the software.

Use the below utility after uninstalling. Then try your install again

not that it is any big deal but I took a look at the programs installed and
found that only FrontPage and PhotoDraw are not Sp-3. Do you think it is
possible that these two are stopping the 148kb from installing?
