How do I locate where a font is used in a document

I want to remove all occurrences of a particular font in a large document.
I tried substituting the font with Wingdings and then inspecting the
document for the locations and changing the text I found.
The unwanted font is still listed as being included in the document and I
suspect that there are some spaces left in that font and I dont know how to
find them. (Publisher 2003)

If substituting that font with something like Wingdings doesn't work (and
that's exactly what I would have done), it could just be a weird remnant
from something no longer there. Ignore it.
