How do I made a policy manual?

I am using Microsoft Word, and I'm trying to make a Health, Safety and
Environment Policy Manual. But I don't want to use the template that was
provided because it does not suit the document that I'm trying to make. I
need some help to make this manual a little unique and creative.

Sounds like you need to build a new template. When I write manuals (or any
other doc), I set up the template using styles before I ever enter any data.
Get the template to look and feel the way you want, with all your headings,
subheading, text, numbers & bullets, tables, etc. before you start and life
is a lot easier!

Let me know if you need help setting up a template. I am more than happy to
walk you through it.

I just did that at work. Search the web for some online policy manuals. Find
one that you like and then try to recreate the look for yourself.

Believe me, even tho the formatting means a lot to you - your boss only
cares about the content.
