how do I mail merge two letters/notes per page

I need to write a short note to many people. I would like to use mail merge
and have it print out two notes per sheet of paper. I'll just cut the paper
in half. I've seen this done before, but can't remember how. Please help!

I asked a similar question last week. I was told to insert the NEXT RECORD
field at the start of the second note on the page. Hope it works for you.
Unfortunately due to the way I set up my document, it isn't working for me. I
did lots of graphics and text boxes (I'm used to working in Pagemaker). But
when I did a test document with just regular text, it did work. Good luck!

If you use text boxes (which are in the drawing layer) containing fields
then the merge will not see them. If you use table cells or frames then this
method will certainly work.

Thanks, Graham!! I had to recreate my document in a table, but it is now
working and I can print 2 different records on each page. Thanks again!
