Visio 2000
Adobe Acrobat 6.0.0 5/19/2003
When I create a PDF from Visio using Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Pro, additional
variables on the URL do not get immediately transfered to the PDF. To
activate the link, I have to open the link and click on "edit", then the
variables appear.
For example....
http://www.edrwas.ford.com/launchomatic/launch/view.jsp?chronicleId=09000c
5180226253&docbase=edrdoc1
The hyperlink works from within Visio. When I convert to a PDF file, I
initially get a truncated link that appears as;
http://www.edrwas.ford.com/launchomatic/launch/view.jsp
I then must open the link tool within Acrobat and click on "edit", after
which the complete address appears. When I convert a Word doc with the same
address it converts correctly.
It appears that Visio is cutting off the address and not Acrobat, anyway to
overcome this problem?
