How do I maintain the aspect ratio of pictures when resizing

Hi folks,

I can't find information on how to maintain the aspect ratio of photographs
when resizing them after an "Insert Pictures" in an Outlook 2003 email. I
would have sworn that holding down either "Alt" or Cntl" used to do it but
that doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?
