how do I make a check mark in a word document

If you just want a check ü inserted into the doc use the Insert> Symbol
feature or the Windows Character Map, Wingdings font (among others). You
might also try typing the digits 2713 followed by Alt+x. If you are looking
to do something other than that, use the Message area (big box) to provide
more detail about what you want to do as well as what version of Word you're
using.

Thank You I am using word 2007. I tried the windings font 3 and if I hold
down the shift key and prss p it gives me a check mark. Thats what I needed.
