How do I make a list of names scroll as credits in Powerpoint?

I am creating a recognition piece in Powerpoint and I am trying to figure out
how to get my long list of names to scroll upwards like credits in a movie
without stopping a quarter of the way through.

Does Powerpoint have a limitation in terms of how many names I can include
on one slide?

Hi,

You could add the credit animation to the name one-by-one. Take PP
2007 for example.

Select the name you want to appear first, click Animation in the menu
and then click Custom Animation, then the Custom Animation panel will
appear near the right of slide. Click Add Effects -> Entrance, and
then choose the credit effect. After these, the name will upwards like
credits. You also can do the same steps to other names.

As Lucy says use Crawl!

Just to answer the first question - there is a limit to how much data
credits can show and it is about one further screen of info. If your list is
longer it will stop.
