I've made power points before, but I received on in email and view it. It was beautiful. The person, who I have no idea who made it or I'd ask them, made the power point with each picture starting in black and white and before your eyes they seemed to fade to bold and colorul. This was a very eye catching power point and I'd like to create one similar with my own pictures. Does anyone know how to do this. I have the mac office version of power point. Thanks.

Insert a photo into your presentation, and
then copy it and place it so that the copy
is stacked right in front of the other.
(They need to be perfectly aligned, so you can
use the Formatting Palette, Align options
to select both photos and perfectly stack them
together.)

Next, deselect both photos.
Right-click on the top photo, select Format
Picture, and in the "Image control" section,
set the recolor option to "Grayscale". Click OK.

Lastly, with the black and white image selected,
click on the Custom Animation icon at the top of
the Formatting Palette, and next to the
words "Add Effect", click on the red star with the
Exit effects, and add a Fade effect.

You're done!
You should see the black and white photo fade out into
color on the slide in preview mode right before
your eyes... and when you are in Slide Show mode,
you can click on the photo to make it fade once
into color.

Is this the kind of effect you're looking for?
Play around with the animations and photo
recoloring controls - use your animation, and you might
be able to come up with an even better effect than
what you saw...
