How do I make a shape like Ethernet

Hello,

I'm pretty much of a newbie on creating custom shapes but done a bit. I want
to make a shape that works like the Ethernet shape - one that has "fingers"
that extend from the "pipe" to connect to other shapes. Is this easy to do or
do I need to get deep into Shape Studio?

Of ourse, you can. you would study about visio shapes mechanism and analyse
existing shapes with "Developing Microsoft Visio Solutions" at
