how do i make a toggle selection?

hi...

in a row i want pre-defined entries....

e.g i want all the cells in a certain column for the user to be able to
choose a,b,c or d.

i want the user to select the option by a drop down button.

Validation/Allow list *will* give you a drop down menu - make sure
the "in-cell dropdown" checkbox is checked in the Validation dialog.
