Robert,
The easiest way (if the brochure is going to a commercial printer) is to:
1. Open a blank publication
2. Go to the ‘File’ menu, select ‘Page Setup…’, choose your full page size
(usually 8½"x11") then select ‘Landscape’. Click OK.
3. Go to the ‘Arrange’ menu and select ‘Layout Guides…’.
* For Publisher 2000 and 2002: In the ‘Layout Guides’ dialogue box change
all your margins to 0" and make it 3 columns. Click OK.
* For Publisher 2000In the ‘Layout Guides’ dialogue box click the ‘Margin
Guides’ tab, change all your margins to a reasonable size (0.125" for
example). Click the ‘Grid Guides’ tab and make it 3 columns and set the
spacing to twice the size of your margins (0.25"if the margins were set to
0.125"). Click OK.
4. Insert a second page in your publication.
5. Place your text boxes and images as you would any other document using
the guides to indicate your panels.
Be aware if your brochure is to be a roll fold the inside panel will be
1/16" shorter than the other two panels so you may need to make some minor
adjustments, if the brochure is accordion fold no adjustment is needed.
If you are printing the brochure to your own inkjet or laser printer you
could also use one of the brochure wizards from the Publisher catalogue.
