How do I make an Office 2003 .pst file comapatable with WIN XP ?

I have just upgraded to Office XP 2003, I have Win XP office on my work
laptop and I am unable to open the 2003 pst file on my laptop. I get an
incompatable issue. Any suggestions?

Do you mean compatible with Office XP (2002)? If so, try creating a new PST
in OL2003 using the File menu > New > Outlook Data File. Make sure to create
one in the 97-2002 format. Once it's open drag/drop the data you want into
it, close the data file then close Outlook and copy the PST file to where
you need it
