Most office tools can be customized.
Right clicking on the blank section of the toolbar menu allows you to choose
Customize.
In the pop-up, you can select the Commands tab.
There, you can select buttons from different menus. The left hand side is
the menu, and we can stay with the default, the File menu. On the right hand
side is the list of buttons available. We scrolled down and took Print.
Drag and drop the icon to the toolbar you want to customize.
Now, for us, we can use this button during this session.
In other parts of office, this change is permanent. Next session would
allow you see and use the added button.
In Visio 2000 (SP 1), the changes we made don't stick. That is, the added
button is not present on subsequent sessions.
This occurs for both users and Administrators.
Is there some way to make it stick?
