How do I make Contacts my Address Book?

Please tell me step by step how to bring in Address Book to Contacts to
Outlook Contacts (in Outlook 2007, Windows 7)? I have tried every step I can
find in the discussion. Latest I: Exported address book from Windows Live
Mail (WLM) to .CVS file, then I imported the .CVS to my Contacts file (it did
not produce all the data fields however, including email addresses are
missing, even though addresses are in .CVS file); then I tried
Contacts-Folder-Contacts Property-Address Book; but was not able to the
choice to make the Contacts file the Address Book--it was disabled. Please
write clear steps from A-Z (even though I know you have done this many times
before). Thanks!

If you cannot check the box that designates a contacts folder as an address
book, then your mail profile needs recreating. The initial mail profile
created when you install Outlook 2007 is more often than not broken and the
Outlook Address Book service doesn't work. A new profile is needed to fix
that.
