How do I make controls appear and disappear in Info Path 07?

I have followed the instructions that I found on the Info Path website and
followed them as best as I can but I cannot make controls appear and
disappear when a check box is checked. I have seen this done on a finished
form someone showed me a while ago and I am trying to replicate this
function. Any suggestions?

It involves conditional formatting --AND-- knowing what the actual on/off
values are for your check box. They might be 1/0, yes/no, true/false, on/off
or any other pair you specify (except in the case of secondary data sources
where they are more limited).

If you double-click on the control that you want to make appear/disappear,
and then click on the "Display" tab, you will see a button called
"Conditional Formatting". Click on this button, and then on the "Add" button
on the "Conditional Format" dialog box. Select the field that represents the
checkbox from the first drop-down list box, select "is equal to" from the
second drop-down list box, and then select either "TRUE", "FALSE", "1", or
"0" from the third drop-down list box. Then check "Hide this control" and
click "OK" to close all dialog boxes that are open.
