How do I make histogram graphs look the same?

Boatman

I have to make a series or group of histogram graphs which I would like to
make look basically the same. I am using the histogram tool from the
analysis toolpack with Excel 97. Each time i use this tool on a set of data,
it produces a rather small graph which I then must customize, and in
particular, make larger. Every graph I make looks a little different. I
tried copying| special| format with little success. I have thought of
recording a macro as I customize one. Are there any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Boatman

make one histogram as you like it. Then
-chart
-chart type
-Custom Types
-user defined
-set as default

this should be used with same borders and scale and colors and .... as first

Thanks, Claus. You turned me on to a feature of Excel I was not familiar
with.
