I just recently installed Windows XP on my computer. I am trying to make
Microsoft Outlook my default email. However, everything is still being sent
to Outlook Express. How do I change it?

Change it in Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs--not in
Outlook.

To make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar

1.. On the Outlook Tools menu, click Options, then click Other.

2.. Under General, select the "Make Outlook the default program for E-mail,
Contacts, and Calendar" check box.

Hope this helps,

Don't run Outlook Express and it can't download messages.

You could always go into ADD/REMOVE programs from the Control Panel, then go
into Set Access Defaults etc, then uncheck outlook express from the "still
allow access to this program bit"

This will effectively 'remove' it from your xp machine,
