How do I make my personal folders the default?

I recently upgraded my Outlook (from v.5 to v.6 I think). I imported my .pst
file but cannot get the program to default to those folders and must open
them each time I open Outlook. How do I fix this?

Outlook doesn';t have v5 and 6. Look on Help, About for the correct version.

How are you opening the folders each time?
