How do I make subordinates closer

When using staff in an org chart how do I reduce distance between staff (make
charter tighter)? Menu Organization Chart / Change Spacing or Relayout
returns to the original spacing.

What version of Visio are you using? The Organization Chart->Change Spacing
functionality works fine for me in Visio 2003.

One hint: The spacing applies to the *subordinates* of the selected shape,
not the shape itself, so be sure that you have the correct shape selected
when you apply the spacing (or select "Current Page" under the "Apply
Spacing to" section of the spacing dialog)
