How do I make text autopopulate?

I am trying to create a document that I can open, fill in a few blanks, and
have those answers populate into several other forms on the rest of the
document. I have checked the discussion groups, and it seems that several
people have asked similar questions, but the answers that seem to help them
won't work for me. I have tried in both Word 2003, and 2007, and I can't
seem to be making any progress. I am going to have to fill this document out
over, and over again and so I trying to make it as user friendly as possible.
Please help.

way cannot that be adapted to your forms?
