How do I merge two tables of like fields together in ACCESS?

I'm scanning mailing lists with IRIS which puts them into table form and into
htm format and trying to merge it into a larger table containing the same
fields. ACCESS gives me an error and I have to create a separate table and
then copy and paste the records into the larger table. I have ACCESS 2003
and my operating system is Windows XP. My IRIS scanner software is version
9.04. Thank you for any assistance.

Normally if you import data from an HTML file to an existing Access
table, the new data is appended OK provided the structure of the HTML
data exactly matches the structure of the table.

When you say "trying to merge it", it doesn't make it clear what you are
actually telling Access to do. Likewise, "gives me an error" doesn't
help because you don't say what error number and error message you get.
Please explain.

Thank you. You have given me the clue I needed. I simply create the new
table of records with the exact same structure as the existing table and then
I copy and paste all from the new table to the existing table. Access creates
the new sequential ID numbers. Appreciate it.
