How do I merge Visio files?

Working in Visio 2003, SP1, and I have the recurring need to merge pages of
one Visio file into another Visio file. I'd appreciate any information.

Often requested, but difficult.
If you have a similar list of masters, then perhaps use XML format and
cut'n'paste the XML text.
or
If you ensure that nothing is selected in a page, then CTLC+C or Edit/Copy
Drawing will grab the page shapes, but the target page should be the same
size & scale.
