"How do I modify header field in Excel?"

I have a mailing list saved in notepad and need to convert it to Excel
so I can use it with USPS netmailing.

How do I modify the header fields in Excel.....A,B,C, and so on?

I need 5.

You cannot modify the column headers in Excel. The A,B,C can be hidden or
turned to numbers 1,2,3 but that's it.

You can place titles in row 1 columns A,B,C,D,&E
