How do I modify OpenFileDialog's left menu?

I'm looking for a way to tap into the OpenFileDialog (specifically in Word
and Excel) and add an item (icon & text) to the left menu (the one with
"History", "My Documents", "My Desktop" .).



Can anyone point me in the right direction?
