How do I move a cursor from one paragraph to another?

For some reason when I am trying to move the cursor from one paragraph to
another it is not letting me anymore...I do not know how to fix this please
help!

How are you trying to navigate? Do you have a mouse? Are you trying to use
the keyboard? What version of Word and OS?

Normallly, I do CTRL-Arrow Down/Up.

I have same problem and have a remote mouse, word 2003 and vista. Can move by
arrow but mouse loses authority in document only after a few minutes from
starting!!

'Remote mouse' I presume you mean a desktop mouse rather than a laptop
mouse?

What do you mean by 'lose authority'. Do you mean it loses focus from the
current app (Word) whilst you are editing?

Are you using a laptop with integrated touchpad and a USB mouse? Have you
disabled the Touchpad or is it still active whilst the mouse is active? If
so, you need to go to the Touchpad setup and either disable it or
desensitize it or maybe just disabling the 'double-click simulates left
mouse click' option.
