how do I move items from Deleted to Recycle bin?

In XP Prof.: how do I move groups (i.e. how do I multiple select items first
of all?) of items from my sent or deleted folders to my recycle bin? Thanks.

If you are talking about Outlook items - you posted to an Outlook group -
they go to the Outlook Deleted folder only.
Once deleted from that Folder they are gone (Generally, depending on type of
account)

Objects in Outlook are not file system objects and cannot be moved to the
recyle bin.

One way you can select multiple items is to hold down the control key on the
keyboard and click on the messages. The other way is to click the first
message you want to select in the list and hold down shift and click the last
message that should highllight a group
