How do I move Office XP Small Biz to another PC

I have Office XP Small Biz installed and registered on one
PC. I want to move Office and register it to another PC.
What is the process to do this.

If you have a retail version of Office (not included with the computer) you
can uninstall it on your old computer and install on the new one. If it is
an OEM version I think it is wedded to the original computer. If it is the
Academic version I'm not sure.

I believe the retail license allows you to install to both a desktop and a
laptop simultaneously.

I do have a retail version. If I uninstall, how does
micrsoft know that it has been uninstalled, so I can
activate on another PC?
