Its a pain,
If you don't have many to insert you can do this in the custom header/footer
section.
Resize and save your image's onto your pc as a jpeg's where you know where
they are,
Go to page preview, then setup, then header/footer, select custom header,
then click in either left, center or right to where you want the picture
placed.
To fine position, add spaces before the link you pasted, or returns to lower
the image, its a faff on but it works.
