how do I multiple number connectors in Visio 2003 Pro?

I am trying to number connectors at each end. I cannot find any assistance
with this in the online help or any book! This would lead me to believe this
cannot be done and I cannot believe that!
Help Please!!!

I don't know of a way to do so automatically, but you can always do it
manually with indidivual text boxes grouped with the connector lines.
