How do I NOT include a signature on replies and forwards?

I have an automatic signature that I need applied to all new messages that I send. But I don't want to attach that signature when I reply or forward messages. How do I turn off my signature for replies and forwards only?

Another option is not to use an auto sig. Use one of the auto insert text
applications like Typinator, TypeIt4Me, SpellCatcherX to insert the sig of
our choice.
