How do I number pages for entire Workspace

Processor: Intel

I have a workspace with 90 worksheets (a graphic (picture,)some charts but mostly sheets with numbers and text)
Each worksheet is formatted to fit on one page.
I want the printed pages to be numbered.
Page numbers in Footers don't advance beyond 1.
(Each worksheet fits on one page.)
Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
Is there some tricky way to build a Worksheet which has all the other worksheets in it and get my page numbers by printing that combined worksheet?
Is there some tricky way to feed the Excel Workspace to Word or PowerPoint & get my pages numbered?
Any other wild ideas I might try?
Thank you for your time and thought.

Are you actually *printing* & getting this result or is this what you're
seeing on screen in Page Layout View? If the latter, disregard what you are
seeing -- just go ahead & print :) The page numbering doesn't get imposed
until printing takes place. The correct numbering should be seen in the
Print dialog's Quick Preview, but it may be too small to read.

Based on your description of the workbook there should be nothing special
you need do... Just select all 90 sheets then confirm that Active Sheets is
selected in the Print dialog box. The pages should be sequentially numbered
from 1-90 when printed. If you have other content on any of the sheets that
isn't to be printed make sure you have set the Print Area on each sheet.

If you get a different behavior reply with your specific version information
for both Office & OS X. If the software isn't fully updated or if your
printer driver isn't up to date it could be a factor.
